This year, the challenge was to create a system of animated pieces for social media that would align with the tournament’s identity of being young and dynamic. Our proposal was centered on giving life to these “super teen soccer players,” inspired by the sport’s celebrities, such as Lionel Messi and Gabriel Jesus. To capture the spirit and energy of these stars, we employed a combination of cell animation and strategically placed type to drive the pieces. Ultimately, we conveyed a vibrant and powerful message to their audience.
